Training Schedule for 2017

 We are an approved training provider by the Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA) & Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) 

ASSISTED LIVING CORE TRAINING  (new laws in effect for July 2015)
Assisted Living Core Training Program is a 26 hours mandatory course for all ALF Administrators and Managers and including passing the competency exam given by the University of South Florida in conjunction with the Department of Elder Affairs.


ALF Core Training (26 Hrs)

Please note that ALF FL Rules has updated the Administrator Core training to 40 hours effective December 1, 2014. ALF Core update remains 12 hours CEUs. We will be updating the new training as soon as the new curriculum is approved. Check back periodically for updates.

ALF Core Test Review Course (3 Hrs)

ADULT FAMILY CARE HOME
This is the basic training program for AFCH providers offering full-time living arrangements in their private home including room and board and personal care on a 24 hour basis for no more than 5 disabled adults or frail elders who are not relatives.

AFCH Core Training (12 Hrs)
Cost: $245 (AFCH Guide $45 included)  
Time: 9:00 AM- 5 PM & 9 AM-2 PM

AFCH Administrative Annual update (3 Hrs)

Assistance With Self-Administered Medications (6 Hr)  - (new laws in effect)
Cost: $60 (Guide $15 not included)  (New price of $60 in effect Jan 2017)
