Training Schedule for 2018

 We are an approved training provider by the Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA) & Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) 

Assisted Living Core Training Program is a 26 hours mandatory course for all ALF Administrators and Managers and including passing the competency exam given by the University of South Florida in conjunction with the Department of Elder Affairs.

ALF Core Training (26 Hrs) 
Cost: $395 (ALF Guide included)
(Registration and payment required a minimum of 5 days prior to class. Walk-in is NOT recommended. All dates are subject to change or cancellation)

ALF Core Test Review Course (3 Hrs)
(Review course to prepare you for the competency exam. You must bring your ALF guide book)   Cost: $50

This is the basic training program for AFCH providers offering full-time living arrangements in their private home including room and board and personal care on a 24 hour basis for no more than 5 disabled adults or frail elders who are not relatives.

AFCH Core Training (12 Hrs)
Cost: $245 (AFCH Guide $45 included)  
Time: 9:00 AM- 5 PM & 9 AM-2 PM

AFCH Administrative Annual update (3 Hrs)
Cost: $60

Assistance With Self-Administered Medications (6 Hrs initial)  
Cost: $60 (Guide $15 not included (New Rules in effect May 2018)

The medication training for ALF staff has been changed to 6 hours for initial and 2 hours annual update. All staff that have 4 hours prior must take and addition class of 2 hours for the new update.
