Training Schedule for 2018

 We are an approved training provider by the Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA) & Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) 

ASSISTED LIVING CORE TRAINING  
Assisted Living Core Training Program is a 26 hours mandatory course for all ALF Administrators and Managers and including passing the competency exam given by the University of South Florida in conjunction with the Department of Elder Affairs.


ALF Core Training (26 Hrs) 
Cost: $395 (ALF Guide included)
(Registration and payment required a minimum of 5 days prior to class. Walk-in is NOT recommended. All dates are subject to change or cancellation)

ALF Core Test Review Course (3 Hrs)

ADULT FAMILY CARE HOME
This is the basic training program for AFCH providers offering full-time living arrangements in their private home including room and board and personal care on a 24 hour basis for no more than 5 disabled adults or frail elders who are not relatives.

AFCH Core Training (12 Hrs)
Cost: $245 (AFCH Guide $45 included)  
Time: 9:00 AM- 5 PM & 9 AM-2 PM

ADULT DAY CARE OPERATOR TRAINING
This is the basic training program for ADCC Operator who offering  day services for less than 24 hour.
ADCC provides therapeutic programs of social and health services as well as activities for adults in a non-institutional setting. Participants may utilize a variety of services offered during any part of a day, but less than a 24-hour period.

ADCC Operator Training Core Training (4 Hrs) (NEW class)
Cost: $125 (ADCC Guide $25 included)  
Time: 10 AM- 2 PM

Assistance With Self-Administered Medications (6 Hrs initial)  
Cost: $60 (Guide $15 not included (New Rules in effect May 2018)
Time: 9am-3pm

The medication training for ALF staff has been changed to 6 hours for initial and 2 hours annual update. All staff that have 4 hours prior must take and additional class of 2 hours for the new 2018 update.
